Awesome. Very creative design and gameplay. The music really helps keep me patient as I figure out the puzzles.

It's a cool game that complements RR but very laggy.

LET'S GO 4:55!!!!

Got to wave 58 on survival! Was hoping to make it to 60 but LET'S GOOOO!

Is that a mix of Ed's unibrow and Bradley's overall design from My Life As A Teenage Robot at the end? I would like a replay button though so I can play again to try to find...idk whatever else I may find.
I like the music though. What's the song?

There is no soundtrack to set the tone, no sound effects to help elicit emotion, no movement of you or your adversary, not very iconic design, and overall nothing to make this a game worth playing. If you put this in the spam category that's more understandable but you didn't.

It's cool that you used scratch but this game has no tone nor anything to make it stand out. Think of something like Pac-Man that has the iconic waka waka sound. Or Donkey Kong with its platforming. Hell maybe TMNT with their ching sound may not be as iconic but still distinguishable.

They all have something like iconic sound effects or a soundtrack to go with the tone. Of course this would cost more time to do something like a soundtrack but you could have at least added some sound effects.

Additionally it's literally just bouncing a ball. Which is fine but it gets boring really fast. The direction the ball bounces is always the same which is predictable leaving a lot to be desired. No matter how fast the ball will go all the player has to do is drag their mouse across the screen to catch it every time.

man its jest a simple game dont have to criticize you nerd
and you did not make a game yet so i assume that you are a nerd🤓🤓🤓

I literally just run around punching and shooting people as Pico. Obviously a lot of thought and love came into this as there were many cameos from something as classic as Alloy to new loved series like FNF. It feels too free though, as if all I had to do was run and hit things with my bat whilst dodging.

It's a fine game. The music does set a good tone and the upgrades are helpful but if you know what to do you'll have all the upgrades by the late 20 rounds making gameplay repetitive. Although you have an intro telling the reader what happens it seems non important because the game is essentially just a survivor game with RNG deciding if you'll proceed. You also have to completely restart the game as soon as you die which sucks.

I kept playing until I beat round 29, not because I died but because the game never really changes and after I got the upgrades what was the point of playing? There's no scoreboard, no "final round" (or if there is a final round there's not much incentive to achieve it), and the story never seems to progress.

I know this was made in the mid 2000s but some improvements could have been made such as adding an ending

The style really reminds me of the Deep Sleep series by Scriptwelder. Fascinating that this was more story oriented and the game is definitely tougher. For some reason though it doesn't have that scare factor that the first one had. Perhaps because this one had more interaction and I just felt like nothing was really built up to be intimidating despite the clear foreshadowing of what was to come.

That was pretty exhilarating! I had chills the entire time! Unfortunately I got stuck near the end where we needed the key from the Lynx as I didn't find any hints to it so I needed to consult a walkthrough.

However the story had a very gothic feeling to it especially with the crows which stood out to me the most.

That being said the fact the character walked so slow throughout the whole game really killed some momentum if you didn't know what you were doing.

But this was beautifully done!

It's a cool game. You have some fine music to accompany the tone. The designs are fine. At 20 seconds left in the initial countdown in it lags a bit.

I'll give an extra half star for the creativity.
